Tex-Mex Chili Con Carne

  1 pound very lean ground turkey
  2 cans kidney or pinto beans
  2 cans no-salt diced tomatoes
  1 medium to large onion, diced
  2 T. chili powder
  1 t. ground cumin
Brown crumbled turkey, drain. Add diced onion to meat and cook just until onion is soft and translucent. To this mixture add tomatoes, chilli powder and ground cumin. Mix well. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Add beans. Mix well. Heat back to boiling. Cover and simmer an additional 15 miuntes.
